Objectives

Lima provides a sustainable and integrated rural development service to many urban and rural communities through the establishment of appropriate institutions, local economic development and training to empower rural people, particularly women, in their own development efforts, in order to overcome poverty.

A major focus is also placed on the transformation of the agricultural sector by striving towards black economic empowerment, implementing farm-worker equity programmes as well as land reformation.

Services

Lima 's development services are aimed at urban and rural residents and farmers, including community leaders, development communities, and traditional authorities, water service providers, land ownership trusts, women's clubs, farmer associations, mine workers communities and all three spheres of government.
